Richard Jones

Richard Jones has over 25 years experience within the welding industry operating in various key roles including manufacturing, project management and sales of highly technical capital equipment for the automotive, aerospace, construction, and oil industries. In early 2002, Richard led a buyout of the Resistance Welding division of British Federal, working as Operations Director. Responsible for day to day operation, and strategic planning and resources, he developed the company into a customer-focused, technology-driven concern. Since 2005 Richard has been Managing Director of MTI Welding Technologies Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Manufacturing Technology, Inc. Presently, in addition to his role as Managing Director, Richard is heading up the highly technical Global Rotary Friction Welding sales team.
